Bringing Mindfulness to Universities
and Business Schools

Esen offers lectures at universities and business schools, where she teaches mindful leadership, navigating complexity, mindfulness-based interventions. Her courses introduce students to key theories, frameworks, and practices that explore the role of mindfulness across psychology, business, leadership, and organisational life, helping students understand its applications and relevance in diverse contemporary contexts.

Her approach in academia is to present mindfulness not only as a personal practice, but also as a field of study. By integrating insights from psychology, leadership studies, business practice, and mindfulness research, Esen provides students with an interdisciplinary foundation to critically explore these themes and their diverse applications.

As part of her academic teaching, Esen offers:

    • Mindful Leadership Lectures – Keynotes and workshops designed for higher education and professional contexts.

    • Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) Programme – Original 8-week evidence-based programme, for which she is a certified trainer.

    • Psychology & Mindfulness Programmes – Courses that examine the role of mindfulness in psychology and its links to both theory and practical application.

Through her work, Esen aims to educate, spark curiosity, and deepen understanding of mindfulness and its applications across psychology, business, and organisational life. She is committed to fostering thoughtful exploration and encouraging students and professionals alike to engage with mindfulness in meaningful, practical, and inspiring ways.
