Four Foundations of Mindfulness Course
3 · 10 · 17 · 24 February 2027 | Wednesdays · 19:30–21:00 (GMT)
A 4-week journey of practice, exploration and meditation
Our Four Foundations of Mindfulness is a structured 4-week online course exploring the four foundations of mindfulness as presented in the Buddha’s discourses.
Over four weeks, we explore each foundation through a combination of teaching, meditation and shared enquiry. The emphasis is not only on understanding the teachings, but on experiencing them directly through our own practice.
This is a dynamic and interactive course, with space to ask questions, share experiences and explore together.
Each session includes:
- A guided mindfulness meditation
- Exploration of one of the four foundations of mindfulness
- Reflection and shared enquiry
- Space for questions and discussion
- Opportunities to connect the teachings with our own experience
The course is open to all levels of experience, whether you are new to mindfulness or already have an established practice.
The Four Foundations of Mindfulness
The Four Foundations of Mindfulness, or Satipaṭṭhāna, are a central teaching found in the Buddha’s discourses. They offer four areas through which we can develop mindful awareness and investigate our experience more deeply.
Across the four weeks, we will explore:
Week 1. Mindfulness of the Body — Kāya
Week 2. Mindfulness of Feelings — Vedanā
Week 3. Mindfulness of Mind — Citta
Week 4. Mindfulness of Mental Phenomena — Dhamma
These four foundations provide a framework for turning towards our experience with greater awareness, curiosity and clarity.
