What is Mindfulness?

Mindfulness offers a proven way to manage stress, boost emotional regulation, and enhance mental clarity. Importantly, it helps individuals cope with modern-day challenges such as depression, anxiety, reactivity, burnout, and a lack of focus.

How is Mindfulness Used?

In the late 1970s, Dr. Jon Kabat-Zinn introduced mindfulness to Western healthcare. He created the now-famous 8-week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Since then, people across various sectors have embraced mindfulness to build resilience and navigate life without relying solely on medication or therapy.

Consequently, mindfulness practices have spread rapidly. They now support mental health and wellbeing in hospitals, schools, clinics, institutions, and corporations. Notably, these practices enhance not only individual health but also workplace culture and performance.
